Since 2021, models manufactured by Polestar, Volvo's expanding all-electric subsidiary, have carried sustainability labels. The business has now made it clear that seat labels will be introduced to further promote its sustainability objectives.
A section below the headrests on the front seats of the 2024 Polestar 3 will list information about the impact of the materials used on the climate when production finally begins in the second half of 2023. Customers will have the option of choosing between MicroTech (also known as vinyl), as well as alternatives made of wool and nappa leather, both of which have been verified as coming from farms that raise animals in a responsible manner.
