A concept car that showcases Peugeot's vision for electric vehicles in the future has been unveiled.

The Peugeot Inception Concept made its debut at CES 2023. Although it is highly unlikely that we will ever see a production model that is quite like it, it demonstrates technologies and sleek curves that will "inspire future products" from the manufacturer.

It is said to have a range of up to 497 miles and is powered by a 100 kWh battery. Inside, there are two electric motors that produce nearly 640 horsepower each. It can go from 0 to 62 mph in less than three seconds.

According to the manufacturer, the design represents a new philosophy for Peugeot and is simpler than that of other Peugeot vehicles. The aesthetics of models from 2025 will be similar.

A "Tech Bar" that runs through the door layer and can send different messages as the driver or passengers approach is part of the onboard technology. It will automatically adjust the driver's seat position, temperature, driving mode, and multimedia preferences as soon as the user enters the vehicle using artificial intelligence. The Tech Bar even displays the current battery charge level.

The next-generation version of Peugeot's iCockpit technology can be found inside the Inception. This includes a brand-new "Hypersquare" steering wheel-free system that draws inspiration from video games. Instead, it makes use of steer-by-wire technology and digital electric controls.

Before "the end of the decade," Hypersquare is planned for a next-generation vehicle in the range.
